… and along came Web 3.0

July 17, 2007

A coworker sent me a link to a blog post on “how to define web 3.0“.

We both agreed that we were still trying to get a grip on Web 2.0, and along comes Web 3.0.

Is the web something that can be constantly versionized and labelled?

I thought this long blog post might answer my question, but it gives me less insight than I expected from the title.

The article gives examples of current web tools and technologies that can be used as examples of the web to come, whether you define it as Web 3.0, ‘semantic‘ or whatever buzzword you prefer.   That’s it.

Having read the entire blog posting and the comments on Digg, I’m burying this one.
