BBC launches iPlayer

July 26, 2007

The BBC just launched iPlayer beta, an on demand video service. iPlayer lets you catch up on the latest 7 days of BBC Television.

Programmes you download are saved in your “BBC iPlayer Library” for up to 30 days. You then have up to seven days to watch them.

[Real Player required / tested in IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.5]

Right now, it isn’t available for Mac computers or Microsoft Windows Vista. Lack of Mac and Vista compatability has brought forward a petition to the British Parliament.
