The Wall Street Journal recommends when to hold off on latest gadget purchase.
Generally, the best time to buy is six months after release date. Here are some guidelines:
- Computers – one year or longer
- Digital cameras – one year
- High definition video – “when the dust settles”
- Software – one month
- Television – one year
- Videogame Systems: “Wait for cutting-edge videogames to be released”
